The famous wooden bookmark! Comes from a carefully sourced bookmark branches provided directly from nature for the express purpose of keeping your place in your very own book.

Finished with a non-toxic oil and wax finish (the finish creates a protective seal on the wood, and will not transfer to the pages of your book). It’s also a food-safe finish, just in case you feel like using your bookmark as a tiny food tray while you read.

This bundle contains one bookmark from each of the following species of tree:

• Water Birch (spalted) - only native birch in my region. Grows in cute lil’ thickets in and near canyon streambeds

• Mountain Mahogany - an extremely dense, hard wood. Not a true mahogany, but a tree native to the Western U.S.

• Gambel Oak - small shrubby oak tree, one of a lot of species that gets called “scrub oak” - dominates the foothills across the 4 corners states

• Antelope Bitterbrush - Small shrub-like tree. Gnarled little fellas that get nice little yellow blossoms on them in the springtime.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

These are quite thin. This is to ensure that the bookmark has an easier time staying in your book. As a result, they are fragile, so don’t get too rough with them or they will break. (Upside? If you break one you now have two bookmarks)

Shipping these is cost prohibitive for smaller orders, which is why I’ve limited them to bundles of 4.
